Comprehensive Wellness Exams are recommended yearly to monitor and re-evaluate possible changes in the patient’s prescription and ocular health.
Contact Lens Exams or Contacts Exams evaluate how healthy your eyes are in relation to contact lenses and if you are a good candidate for contact lenses.
Medical Eye Exams are concentrated on vision threatening concerns. Our office provides emergency services for eye infections and eye injuries for Spring and surrounding areas. Please call our office at 281-251-1120 during office hours.
EyeScript offers Surgical Co-management to help walk patients through the entire process and communicate important information to the surgeon and his surgical team. Some of the surgeries we offer co-management for are cataracts and LASIK .
About Our Doctor
Dr. Jennifer Nguyen – Optometrist – Eye Doctor – Spring, TX
Dr. Nguyen was born in Houston and spent her entire life here. During high school, Dr. Nguyen worked at a local optometry office here in Spring, TX, helping customers with their vision needs. After completing High School, she attended the University of St. Thomas and received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry. From her experience during her first job, she developed a passion to become an eye doctor and continue helping others with their vision. Dr. Nguyen was later accepted to the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she later received her Doctorate in Optometry.
At the University of Houston College of Optometry, Dr. Nguyen was thoroughly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, infections, dry eyes, as well as other ocular diseases. Dr. Nguyen completed her rotations at the Memorial Hermann Eye Center, treating and managing eye diseases, as well as many other rotations where she treated low vision, specialty glaucoma, specialty pediatrics, and also provided health care to disadvantaged low-income patients.
After graduating optometry school, Dr. Nguyen worked full time as an optometrist and eye doctor at two offices overseeing patient care, co-managing with surgeons, and providing optical care. Dr. Nguyen then went to work for a LASIK surgeon and cared for his patients in College Station doing pre-operation and post-operation exams. Dr. Nguyen then decided to start her own optometry practice here in Spring, TX.
Throughout Dr. Nguyen’s education and work experience, she has had the opportunity to learn about and treat many ocular diseases. With this knowledge, Dr. Nguyen has been able to observe and detect many symptoms of eye diseases and other health problems before they cause permanent or detrimental effects. Dr. Nguyen is also highly skilled in contact lens fittings, fitting complex prescriptions for patients with keratoconus, severe dry eyes, and high astigmatism. Additionally, because she has had so many years of prior experience being an optician fitting eyeglasses, she knows how to translate what she diagnoses medically into a prescription that you will be very happy with. By providing quality service that complements exceptional vision care, Dr. Nguyen offers an enjoyable and professional eye care experience. Not only is she an optometrist that listens to the needs of her patients, Dr. Nguyen truly cares about each and every patient she sees.
Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Infantsee, and the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Nguyen and EyeScript Vision Care, P.C., is a member of Vision Source family. Dr. Nguyen is also the Preferred Co-management LASIK doctor for International EyeCare. Dr. Nguyen has been a proud resident of Spring since 2009. She has chosen to raise her family here and looks forward to her children one day attending schools in Klein Independent School District. Some of our tools include:
Fundus Camera - We are able to photograph the health of the inside of the eye where there is a high vascular supply to vital tissue important to vision. This allows the doctor to accurately document and follow the possible changes that may occur in your eyes. This is highly recommended for all patients, especially if the patient has a history of glaucoma, diabetes, or high blood pressure.
Visual Field Analyzer – This tool allows the doctor to measure the sensitivity of the cable that connects the eye to the brain. It accurately measures numerous points in your vision that can indicate vision loss or de-sensitivity. It can aid in the detection of early glaucoma, retinal degeneration, retinal detachments, cataracts, and even tumors. This is highly recommended if you are over the age of 30, have unusual headaches, or you have a family history of ocular health problems.

EyeScript Vision Care understands that what happens with the patient before, as well as, after the eye exam is extremely important. Our Team strives to provide a friendly and courteous atmosphere for our patients. They are professional and knowledgeable about the different options in contact lenses, eye glasses, lenses, and sunglasses. Each prescription is filled with the idea of improving the patient’s quality of life through their vision.
All of the staff members of EyeScript Vision Care have several years of experience in patient care. As all professionals are required, each staff member attends classes, seminars, and educational meetings throughout the year. They are educated on new technology, new products, and new and better ways to serve their patients. They all live in the greater Spring area and each are very active in the Spring and Magnolia communities.
